But she really can be a very loyal friend and very protective, she hates getting into fights and will try to sort out arguments by talking. She will only fight if she has no other choice. She was a mother once and it shows in everything she does. Any youngster that finds itself orphaned will always find an angel in this mare. She wants a family but finds it hard to trust stallions and so it will take a while before she decides to settle down with one. Be friends with her, gain her trust, you’ll have a loyal, protective friend for life.
History: Born in an abandoned shed, that once held the grains of a human family’s diet, Blackmoon Rising scared her parents when she was born, both her eyes were pale blue-white, except her left one was filmed over in blindness and her pelt was black and white. Her parents didn’t know what to do with her, they raised her, and her dam fed her until she was old enough to eat grass and then bolted, leaving her to fend for herself when she was only two. She managed, but she was always defensive and very temperamental about her disability. She managed to make one friend, a colt named Rajah.
Together the pair had made it out of many a scrape and scuffle and a harsh winter for foals. But at three she had lost him in a forest and has wondered where he’s been since. Will Rajah and Blackmoon be reunited, or will she forever be left wondering about him here? And will she ever trust a stallion enough to love him till their deaths? Let’s find out.
