Waldhelm

This territory consists of a thick winding forest on a rolling terrain. Most magnificent and convenient of all, a large lake serves as one of its borders. Past the fine soiled shore and the winding river, the forest closes in, as if trapping its prey. Within the heart of the forest, fringed with false deer trails, lays a second body of water bubbling up from the very gut of the earth itself. This spring collects in a little rocky dip in the land. When tasted, the water is so cold, it could bring shivers in the warmest of weathers, which had been a relief to the lost travelers of the past, though their downed skeletons in other remote meadows are sure to inform any trespasser of the fates of those who could not find their way out.
